Prayer /meeting
Dear brothers and sisters in ChristFirst I would ask you in your prayers to give thanks to the Holy Spirit for bringing Rev Jayne Scott to Culross and Torryburn. Her induction service will be this evening at Culross Abbey. Let us pray for the parish and her ministry starting, as she does, at a difficult time for the Lord’s Church.
Next I would advise you that the next gathering I will be convening for prayer, exchange of news of developments across the presbytery and simple fellowship will be, as agreed at our last meeting, on Sunday 21st June 2009 at 3 pm, lasting until around 5 pm. Thanks to the generosity and hospitality of that congregation, we will again be meeting in Gillespie Church Hall adjacent to Dunfermline bus station. Although aimed primarily at Parish Prayer Promoters (formal title) all from any parish are welcome.
For those who are unaware the official opening of the Oasis Centre in Dunfermline Kingsgate,. will be at noon this Saturday, 30th May 2009
