Summer Fete

Culross and Torryburn Church Summer Fete will be held this year on Culross Village Green on Saturday, August 15th from 12 noon until 4pm.   No entry charge!

A ‘gala’ event is anticipated, with a varied selection of over thirty stalls and refreshments will be served in the marquee on the green.

Please note this event in your diary and come along with your family on the day and have a great time!

Plenty of parking spaces at both east and west car parks.

Cowdenbeath Trinity Showstoppers

Show time

The Show came to town with a bang in Cowdenbeath with some 60 young people having a great time and learning about God.  The three teams; Hollywood, Las Vegas, and Broadway all decorated their STAR changing rooms and produced a show song for all to enjoy.  At the end of the week an OSCAR party was held and Oscar Certificates presented to the best dressed and presented act.  As you can see the Adults enjoyed it as much as the young people

Your very own quiet space in the heart of the town centre.Use it as a staff room, a place to enjoy your packed lunch, or a place to meet your friends, or just simply chill out.We do not sell food, but you are free to use the facilities and escape the stresses of the day.The Oasis is also a Community Information Centre where you can advertise your event.Look forward to meeting you!

Run by Town Centre Worker - Pat Carrigan this new initiative will seek to connect needy people to practical help with Christian compassion.  Pat writes:

We hope to provide an Oasis within the Kingsgate Centre where everyone
can come and enjoy a little peace and tranquillity.
Within this Chaplaincy you will find:

A Sanctuary/ A Chapel/ A quiet room

Access to Pastors of all Christian Denominations

Access to other Faith communities

Access to professional agencies which may assist you

Information

Free Advertising for Community Events

A Canteen area where you may enjoy your own food

Workshops

In order to fund these activities and many others we are seeking sponsorship

Dunfermline East Plant Sale

A CHARITY PLANT SALE is being held by the Kingdom Women in association with Dunfermline East Church at the DULOCH LEISURE CENTRE (behind Tesco) on Saturday 2 May, from 10.00 - 12.00 noon. 

All proceeds are going to Mission

Rwanda, the charity that Gavin and Bronwyn Ryalls, members of Dunfermline East, will be going to work with as from this summer.  Come and stock up your garden and support this exciting venture.
